100 Theme Challenge

Who is going to do it? I am going to do it. Sweet.


So basically I have been going on a "I produce more things, but I don't know what to produce" pouty-faced themed inner rant. And while I kinda wanted to be like "OH HEY ANYONE ON MY PAGE TELL ME SOMETHING TO DRAW" it kinda hit me that either I wouldn't get anyone's attention/no one would say anything (AWKWARD!) or it would just be all digimon couplings. So...yeah. Then I saw the 100 theme challenge in someones journal and was like HMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM.

So I figured /why not./

Basically my personal goal on this is to do one sketch/drawing a weekday, probably while I watch the one show I watch everyday (Rachel Maddow), and that will form habits etc etc.

(Oh man I just realized I am writing this like more than one or two people will read it. OH el oh el.)

So, yes. 100 Theme Challenge GET.

(I plan to tackle the list in a sequential order...BUT I want to reorder some of them to slots that make more sense to me personally. Because I am not finishing off on relaxation, kthx. I will also post it up when it is done.) (Ok, so I just mixed a very few of them, and then added the changes for ver 2, and the ver 3 list. I will be doing whichever one/s I like the most.)

I was toootally gonna do the 100 Themes thing, and I also decided that variation 2 ([link]) is cooler than variation 1, and I wrote down the whole list on some random paper and then never touched it.

Then I decided these are even cooler: [link]

I didn't start on those, either, though. Go figure.

If by cooler you mean sooooo much more emo. =P I went ahead and added the ones that were different to the list that I had, and it reads about like (original on left)

22. Mother Nature (Mother)
23. Cat (Distasteful)
24. No Time (Want)
25. Trouble Lurking (Lurking)
26. Tears (Europe)"
Some of them felt like it was the person going "oh man I am to cool for that" and some felt like they were giving their personal (re)interpretation of the theme. (And some were just condensing them down to a single word.)
My favorite change though was this one:
41. Teamwork (Citric Acid)

I will prooobably do a hybrid of the two, though. (or just pick one of the two when they differ.)


And the other list seeeeeems cool, but there are some times when it is like "I don't have the supplies for that" and then the whole "I grabbed the list to have a vague idea of things to draw." Although I could tooootally hybrid the two lists, but /still/.

It is so awkward to be chatting with you and replying to you at the same time. =P

That's kinda funny, cause the "ArtList002" link stuff is somehow a lot more conducive to ideas jumping into my head, whereas "vacation", "teamwork", etc, just end up stumping me.

Man, don't be so emo about it, geeze. =P (But seriously, I just assumed based on the "2" and that you mentioned some of the "lamer" themes. It happens.)
